Caritas Egypt Safeguarding Team | Strengthening Safeguarding Through Effective Case Management and Investigation Skills

At Caritas Egypt, safeguarding is at the heart of our commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and dignified environment for everyone.

As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen safeguarding practices, the Caritas Egypt Safeguarding Team conducted a specialized training workshop on Case Management and Investigation Skills for selected staff members from across the organization.

The workshop focused on key principles and practical approaches to managing safeguarding cases and conducting investigations in a professional, confidential, impartial, and timely manner. It aimed to enhance participants’ capacities to respond effectively to safeguarding concerns with integrity, fairness, and accountability, while ensuring sensitivity, transparency, and respect for the dignity of all individuals involved.

The training was facilitated by Sylvia Eid from the Caritas MONA Regional Secretariat, whose expertise and guidance enriched the learning experience and contributed to strengthening participants’ knowledge and skills in addressing safeguarding concerns.

Dr. Ayman, General Manager of Caritas Egypt, joined the workshop on the morning of its first day, demonstrating the organization’s commitment to reinforcing safeguarding standards and fostering a culture of accountability, trust, and protection across its programs and operations.

At Caritas Egypt, we believe that safeguarding is a shared responsibility that requires continuous learning, collective commitment, and consistent action. By investing in our staff’s capacities, we continue to strengthen our efforts to ensure that everyone who engages with our work is treated with safety, dignity, and respect.

Together, we are building a stronger safeguarding culture—one that puts people, protection, and dignity first.
