Inspired and guided by the Scriptures and the Catholic Social Teaching (CST), Caritas Organizations of the Region are the helping hand of the Church. They reach out to the poor, vulnerable and marginalized people, regardless of race or religion, thus contributing to building a world based on Justice and Fraternal Cooperation. Caritas is committed to solidarity among all people, particularly the most vulnerable. Solidarity includes determination to work for Common Good. Caritas’ presence and action within these societies express and bear witness to the universal character of Christian charity and constitute a sign of hope to engaging a fraternal dialogue between Christians and faithfuls from other Religions.
