Community Development

In partnership with “Secours Catholique France SCCF” the program encompasses establishing and maintaining libraries and cultural centers that serve as vibrant community hubs; creating welcoming meeting spaces that foster connection. The program place special emphasis on youth development through engaging educational and recreational activities for children and teenagers. The initiative also prioritizes professional development by training leaders and educators while providing capacity, building opportunities for young teachers.

Health

The health program focuses on supporting vulnerable populations through two main initiatives. The first addresses the needs of those losing autonomy, featuring an Alzheimer’s day center in Algiers and retirement homes for the elderly in Algiers, Annaba, and Oran. The second one, implemented in partnership with Caritas Italiana and Pime Detroit, provides support for people with disabilities including therapeutic care for children with cerebral palsy, educational support for children with autism, and comprehensive family assistance services.

Humanitarian

It provides vital support for migrants, including schooling for children in Algiers and Oran, alongside medical, social, and legal assistance through a partnership with CRS. It also promotes women’s well-being and socialization via sewing workshops and training in traditional craft techniques, funded by various sources. Additionally, training programs for early childhood educators are being developed to enhance their professional skills in Algiers and Ghardaïa, supported by a Pedagogical Resource Center in Constantine.
