Migrants

Iran has many Afghan refugees, so Caritas helps them by distributing essential supplies including food baskets, hygiene kits, and basic household items, while also providing school supplies and footwear for children. The project ensures vulnerable children receive daily warm meals and strengthens healthcare access by equipping medical centers with dental and medical instruments. Additionally, they offer financial support for medical expenses to help vulnerable refugee families access necessary healthcare services.

Health

Caritas Iran provides essential healthcare services through their dedicated staff, delivering specialized nursing care and rehabilitation support to bedsore patients customized to meet each patient’s individual requirements. They work in close collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure ongoing monitoring and develop personalized care plans that maximize recovery outcomes and enhance patients’ quality of life. Their comprehensive approach goes beyond direct medical care by including the provision of vital medical supplies, coordinating consultations with specialists, and organizing physical therapy sessions. Through these integrated healthcare services, Caritas supports spinal cord injury patients
as well as other patients in need and vulnerable Afghan refugees throughout their medical journey, maintaining their dignity while delivering care of the highest standard.

Emergency Response

During natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes, Caritas IRAN delivers comprehensive emergency assistance. Their relief efforts include distributing essential food supplies and hygiene kits, providing water and sanitation services, supporting housing reconstruction (with special focus on female-headed households), and installing solar panels to ensure access to energy.
